IBM has rekindled its collaboration with IIT-B and IISc, Bangalore to foster hybrid cloud and AI

IBM has reaffirmed its research collaboration with IIT Bombay and IISc Bangalore to drive innovative solutions in hybrid cloud and AI. IIT Bombay joined the IBM AI Horizon Network in 2018 to advance AI research in India and in 2021, IBM and IISc Bangalore launched the IBM-IISc Hybrid Cloud lab to advance research in hybrid cloud technologies and drive breakthrough innovations in this area.

IBM is collaborating with students, faculty, and industry researchers to drive innovation and provide practical solutions to global challenges. The project aims to enhance technology and contribute to a more advanced future. Collaborations will focus on natural language processing, machine learning for time series, artificial intelligence for fake news detection, hybrid cloud environments, and sustainable computing techniques.

The collaborations aim to push knowledge boundaries and explore new approaches to enhance technology and contribute to a more efficient future. Speaking on the collaborations Dr.Amith Singhee, Director IBM Research India said, “Together, we strive to explore new horizons and address pressing challenges, empowering India’s research community to create tangible impact and shape a brighter future for all.”
