IBM to enhanced data security with the help of End-to-End Quantum-Safe Technology

IBM announced new IBM Quantum Safe technology, a comprehensive set of tools and capabilities combined with IBM’s deep security expertise, designed to help organizations prepare for the post-quantum era. It is designed to be an end-to-end solution for organizations, including governmental agencies, as they prepare for the post-quantum era.

IBM has developed IBM Quantum Safe technology to protect against security risks associated with quantum technology, such as the ability to break the most widely used security protocols. This technology is based on its expertise in cryptography, quantum computing, and critical infrastructure. IBM Quantum Safe Explorer, Advisor, and Remediator are capabilities designed to help clients prepare for the post-quantum era. Explorer enables organizations to scan source and object code to locate cryptographic assets, dependencies, vulnerabilities, and build a Cryptography Bill of Materials (CBOM).

Advisor allows the creation of a dynamic or operational view of cryptographic inventory, while Remediator enables organizations to deploy and test best practice-based quantum-safe remediation patterns. Ray Harishankar, IBM Fellow and IBM Quantum Safe Lead said, “Our new suite of quantum-safe technologies and milestones laid out on our roadmap is designed for the continuous evolution of post-quantum security in tandem with useful quantum computing, including solutions to help industries navigate this shift effectively and easily.”
