Deepti Sharma, a key all rounder for the Indian women’s team has been named as the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for December 2023. She won it ahead of other nominations being her fellow teammate Jemimah Rodrigues and Zimbabwe’s Precious Marange. With it Australian pacer Pat Cummins won the equivalent men’s award for December 2023. This is actually very good news as player from Indian women team is winning ICC Women’s Player of the Month and making India proud.
