IHCL announced the opening of Ginger Gangtok in Sikkim

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has opened its second hotel Ginger Gangtok. The 89-room hotel, situated on Indra Bypass, offers a lean luxe design philosophy that allows guests to blend work and leisure in contemporary spaces. The hotel is conveniently located near the traditional business district and major tourist attractions.

The well-appointed rooms offer panoramic valley views and feature Qmin, an all-day diner, an inviting bar, a flexible meeting room, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have three hotels in Sikkim across the Taj, Vivanta and Ginger brands.

Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Deepika Rao, Executive Vice President– New Businesses, Hotel Openings & Corporate Communications, IHCL, stated, “We are delighted to open the doors of Ginger Gangtok. This hotel marks the debut of the Ginger brand in the city, the state’s capital and most important commercial hub. With this opening, IHCL is expanding in Sikkim and will now have three of its brands present in the state.”
