Recently the first India-Sri Lanka ODI ended in tie and a Super Over wasn’t used. According to the ICC rules, every T20I must have a Super Over in case of tie, however, there’s no such rule for ODIs. In fact playing regulations for every ODI series are different. Actually in ODIs, provision for Super Over has been largely kept only for knockouts of multi-nation events.
