In connection with the alleged staged killing of Sengbath Marak the CBI has examined 11 witnesses

Recently the CBI has examined 11 witnesses in connection with the alleged staged killing of Sengbath Marak, son of the Nokma of Oragitok, West Garo Hills. The High Court of Meghalaya had in May last year ordered the CBI inquiry. The police had branded Marak as a GNLA militant. Actually Marak was killed by the police after he was asked to come out of the house on March 4, 2015.

This is actually very critical case as things are not getting clear and it can’t be found who is guilty and how much guilty they are. Since CBI has entered in this case then it is going to be solved as they are premier investigative agency and they are expert in their work. People should not panic from this case as this type thing can happen and with time it gets solved. In reality today Meghalaya is very peaceful place and people are very happy here as they don’t need to fear anyone.
