In Siliguri one arrested with brown sugar worth lakhs

In a significant breakthrough, the cops of Khalpara Outpost recently arrested a drug smuggler with brown sugar worth lakhs of rupees from Dangipara in Siliguri. Actually the arrested accused has been identified as Kailash Sahni (50), a resident of Tikiapara in Siliguri. According to police sources, on Wednesday evening, the accused Kailash was on his way from Dangipara to sell the narcotics. In fact based on the tip-off information, the Khalpara Outpost police apprehended Kailash near the Dangipara railway gate and initiated a search. During the search, the police recovered about 57 grams of brown sugar.

Subsequently, the police arrested Kailash Sahni after registering a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. On Thursday, the accused has been produced before the Siliguri court while the police are engaged in investigating the case. This is actually bad news as this type of activity is happening and affecting people life. People should be very strict against this type of case and take immediate action if they find anything suspicious.
