In Siliguri three stolen bicycles recovered

In a significant achievement, recently the Siliguri police station has recovered three expensive Ranger bicycles stolen from different places in Siliguri. The incident led to the arrest of Mohammad Raja (30), Santosh Kumar Shah (44), Ashok Roy (30) and Mohammad Arif Hasan (54). As per reports, on February 11, the Panitanki Outpost actually received a complaint of bicycle theft in Siliguri. Subsequently, the officials initiated an investigation based on the complaint. In fact acting on a tip-off, the police first launched an operation in Vivekananda Pally of Khalpara, apprehended the accused Mohammad Raja, and recovered a stolen bicycle. Following this, the names of Santosh Kumar Shah, Ashok Roy, and Mohammad Arif Hasan actually surfaced while interrogating the arrested accused.

In reality the police launched another campaign and successfully arrested the other suspects. During this, the police recovered two other bicycles. On Monday, all four accused were produced before the Siliguri court. The case is under further investigation.
