In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, as many as 65, 22,772 NOTA votes were polled, which actually constituted 1.06% of the total number of votes. In fact the highest numbers of NOTA votes were cast in Bihar (8, 16,950). Meanwhile, in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, as many as 60, 02,942 NOTA votes were actually cast. Right now in India elections are going on and people are very serious about it so that right candidate wins which will be good for everyone.
Actually India is a big country and having a huge population. For this reason conducting election in India is very difficult and takes huge work. In fact if you see there is huge competition between every candidate to win this election and for this reason they are doing everything to get support from people. Actually NOTA are an option for people who didn’t like other options and want something other for better result. In reality it depends on people which option they want to give their vote and by it right person win the election.
