Inaugural Chapter of Vividhta ka Amrit Mahotsav to be held in Delhi

The Vividhta ka Amrit Mahotsav, a four-day cultural extravaganza, will take place in New Delhi from February 8th to 11th, 2024, showcasing the richness of Northeast India. The event timings are scheduled from 10 AM to 8 PM. The entry to the event is free.

The Hon’ble President of India in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister of DoNER, Culture and Tourism will inaugurated the event on the 8th of February at 11.15 AM. This event is being held as a part of Udyan Utsav 2024 at Amrit Udyan inside the Rashtrapati Bhavan premises. The Ministry of Development of Northeastern Region, managed by Northeastern Handicrafts & Handlooms Development Corporation Limited (NEHHDC), is organizing the event named ‘Vividhta ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to celebrate India’s cultural diversity.

The event will be held in seven chapters over the coming years, each focusing on a different geographical region of India. The first chapter will honor the Ashtalaxmi, the eight culturally rich states of the North-Eastern Region. The first chapter, Vividhta ka Amrit Mahotsav, showcases the diverse arts, crafts, and cultures of Northeast India. It’s more than a celebration; it aims to use Rashtrapati Bhavan as a cultural mosaic, promoting economic opportunities and enhancing the city’s status as a cultural hub.
