The CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) is set to launch its inaugural season, marking a significant shift in Indian motorsports. The race, scheduled for Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Mahalunge, Balewadi, Pune, is expected to mark a new era. India hosts a groundbreaking Supercross race on a global scale, marking a pioneering moment in the sport. The ground-breaking league promises a thrilling spectacle of speed, skill, and international competition, starting its inaugural season in Pune.
The ISRL will commence its inaugural race on January 28th, 2024, featuring renowned Supercross champions from around the world. The CEAT ISRL rider auction attracted over 100 riders worldwide, with 48 of them finding homes in the six franchise teams, showcasing the league’s global resonance and intense competition.
Accredited by the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), CEAT ISRL promises to be a game-changer in the world of Supercross. Mr. Eeshan Lokhande, Director and Co-Founder of CEAT ISRL, expressed his excitement: “This franchise-based Supercross race is a first-of-its-kind, and we aim to turn Indiainto the centre stage of the Supercross world.”
