India and Bangladesh Enhance Connectivity with New Friendship Bridge

India and Bangladesh have inaugurated the Maitri Setu bridge, spanning the Feni River and connecting Tripura in India to Bangladesh. This infrastructure project aims to enhance regional connectivity, facilitating trade and travel between the two nations. The bridge is expected to provide India’s northeastern states with access to Bangladeshi ports, thereby boosting economic activities in the region. Leaders from both countries hailed the project as a testament to their strong bilateral relations and a significant step towards regional integration.
