Indian Home Ministry Orders “Grid Search” in Meghalaya

In response to allegations from Dhaka, India’s Ministry of Home Affairs has authorized a massive “Grid Search” operation across the dense forests of Meghalaya and Southern Assam. Special forces are using thermal drones and ground sensors to locate the two prime suspects in the assassination of student leader Sharif Osman Hadi, who are alleged to have crossed the border on New Year’s Eve. New Delhi has maintained that while it will cooperate, it requires “verifiable digital evidence” before formal extradition proceedings can begin.
