Indian student shot at and injured in Ukraine to return on March 7, says Union minister

Harjot Singh, a 31-year-old Indian pupil who was shot at whilst making an attempt to escape Kyiv in a taxi on February 27, will be returning to India on Monday, Union minister Gen (Retd) VK Singh stated on Sunday.

“Harjot Singh, an Indian countrywide who sustained bullet accidents in Kyiv and lost his passport, will return to India with us tomorrow,” tweeted the minister.

Indian officials stated that Harjot had acquired 4 bullets injuries, inclusive of one in the chest.

“We were in a cab to Lviv. We had been stopped at a barricade and suddenly it was once raining bullets. I idea this is the end. I am alive by means of god’s grace,” Harjot had said.
