Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced the launch of its much-awaited All-New Celerio. The company claims the New Celerio to be India’s most fuel-efficient petrol car which offers a stellar mileage of 26.68km/l. The car is powered by next-generation Dual Jet, Dual VVT K-Series engine with Idle Start-Stop technology which offers a spirited drive experience. The car is also equipped with new-age design, enhanced road presence, host of safety, and smart features.
With segment-first features like IdleStart-Stop, the All-New Celerio makes a step forward towards sustainability byreducing CO2 emissions by up to 19% across variants. The engine offers a torque of 89Nm@3500rpm and power of 50kW@6000RPM. Extensive use of high tensile steel and 12+ safety features in the car assures safer rides. The car comes with Manual Transmission and Auto Gear Shift options in Lxi, Vxi, Zxi and Zxi+ varients.
