IndiaSkills encourages individuals to showcase their talents

IndiaSkills 2023-24 is a competition that represents the nation’s heartbeat. It invites individuals nationwide to showcase their talents and embark on a journey where skills guide success. The event aims to witness dreams turning into reality.

Dharamraj Thiyagarajan, a mechatronics engineering graduate from Shri Krishna College of Engineering, started his entrepreneurial journey in 2018 after winning a skill competition organized by the National Skill Development Corporation. He focuses on Mobile Robotics, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Reality. Mahima Gandhi, founder of Mahima Gandhi Makeup & Nail Studio, found self-belief through WorldSkills 2019-20 and established her makeup studio despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

 Varad Patil, an Indian entrepreneur, participated in the WorldSkills Competition in 2013 and received funding from Emcure Pharmaceuticals CFO Namita Thapar for 3.5% equity. Mohit Dudeja, a 27-year-old baking science and pastry arts graduate, learned about WorldSkills and now owns a Channel 9 patisserie, bakery, and cake shop. Varad, Mahima, Dharamraj, and Mohit are not just success stories; they demonstrate the tangible impact of skills in establishing successful ventures.
