INDIAWOOD 2026 is poised to underline the accelerating growth trajectory of India’s woodworking and furniture manufacturing market, with the 26th edition scheduled from February 26 to March 2 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Bengaluru. Organised by NürnbergMesse India and supported by EUMABOIS, the exhibition is expected to be the largest in its history.
Market indicators point to rising global confidence, with over 1,000 brands from more than 50 countries confirmed to participate. Visitor footfall is projected to exceed 90,000 industry professionals, while exhibition space has expanded to 85,000 square metres, reflecting 15 per cent growth over the previous edition. This expansion aligns with India’s Viksit Bharat vision, where manufacturing-led exports and global integration are central growth drivers.
The advancing India–EU Free Trade Agreement, described by policymakers as the “mother of all deals”, is expected to significantly improve market access by reducing tariffs, boosting exports of engineered wood products, and enabling smoother inflows of advanced machinery and industrial inputs.
From a technology and product perspective, INDIAWOOD 2026 will highlight automation-driven manufacturing, Industry 4.0 solutions, compact production systems, advanced surface technologies and sustainable materials. The co-located India Mattresstech & Upholstery Supplies Expo and knowledge platform Wood+ in Architecture & Design further strengthen the ecosystem, positioning the INDIAWOOD platform as a key barometer of India’s USD 40 billion furniture market outlook by 2030.
