Assam Government has approved Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) guidelines to construct houses for the rural area people under the Mukhymantri Awas Yojana scheme.
According to the sources, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma presided Cabinet meeting on Thursday, the decision was taken to construct 1.3 lakh houses.
Addressing the media, the government said that the initiative was taken under Mission Basundhara 2.0, land settlement for indigenous households without land which will be carried out.
