Institution of Valuers aiming to expand in the Northeast India.

Institute of Valuers (IOV), a pioneer in the field of valuation organized an awareness press conference on valuation and home loans. IVC has also launched “ekta” software in collaboration with Evalo to bridge the supply-side gap for entry-level jobs and digitize 766 districts in India. This initiative is a step towards alignment of assessment fraternity with “Skill India” and “Digital India” movements.

“Indian Values Congress” is being held in Guwahati from 16 to 18 December 2022. It is not only to reach that part, but also to try to open the gate for the Southeast Asian region. There begins a new chapter of alignment in the field of assessment with the aim of expanding the Indian assessment ecosystem towards globalization. It is also a path-breaking initiative from the esteemed organization pursuing the goal of institutionalizing institutional inclusive initiatives.

The conference was organized by the Institution of Valuers (IOV) in collaboration with Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) and IOV Registered Valuers Foundation (IOV-RVF).

Also, with efforts to promote and develop valuation education, two new courses Business, Intangible, and Financial Instruments Valuation (CBIFV) and Valuation Surveyor were launched during the 53rd IVC, after IMPEX and DCF Techniques of Valuation.

It is also fervently believed by the stakeholders that the Indian valuation profession can rise to the occasion and go ahead to grab much deserved entry into the global market which can open up great opportunities for Indian appraisers and valuation firms in the global ecosystem. Valuers across the country will certainly have very useful and meaningful exposure to emerging challenges, opportunities, trends and identifying and strengthening the network already established and expanded for a potentially stronger valuation profession in the near future.
