In a strongly worded resolution adopted at the close of India’s presidency of the Security Council for the month of August, the UN’s highest body pointed to the Taliban’s commitments regarding combating terrorism and allowing the safe and orderly departure of Afghan and foreign nationals. 16 Afghan people evacuated from Afghanidtan who landed in Delhi yesterday, test Covid positive

As many as 16 Afghan evacuees, out of 78 who landed in Delhi yesterday i.e, on Tuesday have tested Covid positive. All the positive people have been admitted to LNJP Hospital and the rest are quarantined at an Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) camp in south-west Delhi's Chhawla.
