iQOO has introduced the TWS 5e in China, adding a new pair of truly wireless earbuds to its audio portfolio. The earbuds were launched alongside the iQOO Neo 11 Ultra and iQOO Z11S and come with a combination of audio, gaming and smart features.
The iQOO TWS 5e features 11mm high-resolution drivers and offers 35dB active noise cancellation. The earbuds are designed for gaming as well, with a claimed 42ms low-latency mode and Bluetooth 5.4 support.
For audio, the earbuds support AAC, SBC and LC3 codecs. They also feature Monster Sound gaming audio with DeepX 3.0 stereo sound. Users can choose from four audio preferences, including treble-, bass- and vocal-focused modes. Content-compatible spatial audio is also available to deliver a wider, more immersive three-dimensional sound experience.
Connectivity is another key feature of the TWS 5e. The earbuds can connect to two devices simultaneously and come with touch controls for music and calls. Wear detection is also included for added convenience.
The 35dB ANC system is complemented by AI-powered call noise reduction and wind noise suppression. The earbuds are also compatible with supported Vivo and iQOO devices running the BlueOS ecosystem.
iQOO has included several additional smart features, such as remote camera control, caller ID announcements, real-time translation and an earbud-finding function. The company has also confirmed support for future software updates.
In terms of battery life, the earbuds can deliver up to 11.5 hours of playback on a single charge. With the charging case, the total playback time reaches up to 50 hours with ANC turned off. Charging is handled through a USB Type-C port.
The iQOO TWS 5e carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. It is available in Electric White and Sharp Yellow colour options.
The earbuds have been priced at CNY 149 in China, which is approximately Rs 1,800. Details regarding their availability in India have not been provided yet.
