Superstar Rajinikanth is back on the sets of ‘Jailer’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Another star actor joins the cast as he kicks off the new year with work. After Mohanlal and Kannada star Shiv Rajkumar, Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff has been cast in a special role. The announcement was done on Sunday, February 5.
Sun Pictures tweeted a picture of Jackie Shroff on Sunday and wrote, “Jackie Shroff from the sets of #Jailer.” Before this film, Jackie has previously worked with the Thalaiva in the movie Uttar Dakshin in 1987 and the 2014 animated movie, Kochadaiiyaan.
Apart from that, several reports had earlier suggested that Mohanlal had joined the film in January 2023 for a special role. Kannada star Shiv Rajkumar will also play an important role in the actioner.
