In the present fifth Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy Test against England at The Oval, fast-bowling star Jasprit Bumrah was left out of the playing XI because of workload management, according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Before reaching the location for the play on day two, Bumrah was not seen on the Indian squad bus. Mr. Jasprit Bumrah has been cut from India’s roster for the series’ fifth Test matchup with England.
At London’s Kennington Oval, the fifth and final Test of the series is currently in progress, the BCCI announced in a release. Due to workload management, head coach Gautam Gambhir and chief selector Ajit Agarkar stated prior to the start of the five-match series in England that Bumrah would not play in more than three Test matches while on tour. Headingley, Leeds, hosted the first Test match, while Lord’s and Old Trafford, Manchester, hosted the third and fourth Test matches, respectively, in which Bumrah played.
