Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced the new Jawa 42 Ivory, adding a pastel-inspired colour option to its popular neo-classic motorcycle lineup. Priced at Rs 1,84,950 (ex-showroom New Delhi), the latest edition reflects a global design trend favouring softer, minimalist shades while retaining the brand’s signature retro styling, chequered-flag graphics, and bold “42” badging.
Powered by a 294cc liquid-cooled engine, the motorcycle delivers 27.32 PS power and 26.84 Nm torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and assist-and-slipper clutch. The company said the India-tuned suspension, refined throttle maps, and best-in-class braking are designed to improve ride comfort and performance across diverse road conditions. The model also comes with a 4-year/50,000-km warranty, extendable ownership benefits, and support through 450+ sales and service touchpoints nationwide.
Anupam Thareja, Co-founder of Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles, said the Jawa 42 continues to redefine the neo-classic segment by combining bold design with performance engineering, while the new Ivory shade reflects riders’ preference for understated styling and individuality. In Kolkata, the Ivory edition is expected to attract young urban riders seeking premium retro motorcycles with distinctive colours. Strong demand for mid-capacity lifestyle bikes in eastern India is likely to support steady bookings, particularly among buyers upgrading from entry-level commuter motorcycles.
