Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has announced the release of the special edition Yezdi Roadster ‘Red Wolf’, scheduled for launch on March 3, 2026, coinciding with the Red Moon night. The motorcycle draws inspiration from Yezdi’s iconic 1970s design language, combining a deep glossy red finish with prominent chrome detailing across the exhaust, engine and handlebar. Positioned as a retro long-haul roadster, the Red Wolf retains the brand’s ‘Born Out of Line’ design philosophy. It features a sculpted fuel tank, wide rear and hugger fenders, a bobber-style tail and the widest-in-segment rear tyre. A rich brown seat and modular solo/pillion setup further enhance its distinctive cruiser appeal.
The motorcycle is powered by the 350 Alpha2 liquid-cooled engine paired with a first-in-segment six-speed gearbox and assist and slipper clutch. It also comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, LED lighting and twin-barrel exhausts designed to deliver a distinctive sound signature. Built for touring, the bike features a 12.5-litre fuel tank with a claimed range of over 350 km, along with a relaxed riding triangle, telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. The Red Wolf carries an introductory price of Rs 2,09,950 (ex-showroom Delhi) and will be available at authorised Jawa Yezdi dealerships across India.
In Kolkata, the demand for retro-styled motorcycles has been steadily rising among young riders and touring enthusiasts. Industry observers believe models like the Red Wolf could attract buyers seeking a blend of vintage design and modern performance, especially in eastern markets where classic motorcycle culture has a strong following. The company’s Ownership Assurance Programme, including a 4-year/50,000 km warranty and extended service options, is also expected to strengthen buyer confidence in the region.
