Jayant Chaudhary, the newly appointed Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), has officially commenced his tenure with a vow to revolutionize India’s skill landscape. At a ceremony held at Kaushal Bhawan, New Delhi, Shri Chaudhary was warmly welcomed by Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary of MSDE, marking the initiation of an ambitious agenda to elevate India’s workforce to global standards.
In his inaugural speech, Shri Chaudhary articulated a vision of corporate-grade skill enhancement, echoing the aspirations of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for a ‘Viksit Bharat.’ Emphasizing the critical importance of empowering India’s youth with cutting-edge skills, Shri Chaudhary outlined strategic initiatives aimed at bridging the skills gap and fostering entrepreneurship.
Under his leadership, MSDE is poised to prioritize the modernization of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) nationwide, ensuring they become centers of excellence aligned with industry demands. Shri Chaudhary also underscored the ministry’s commitment to international collaboration, leveraging digital platforms like SIDH (Skill India Digital Hub) to facilitate inclusive skill training and rapid implementation of impactful initiatives.
