JSW MG Motor India reported a 30 per cent year-on-year increase in wholesale sales, reaching 7,568 units in June 2026, marking its highest-ever monthly performance. The company said the strong growth was primarily driven by robust demand for electric vehicles, which accounted for over 75 per cent of total sales during the month.
According to the company, rising fuel prices, lower running costs of electric vehicles, and ongoing geopolitical uncertainties in West Asia have further accelerated consumer preference for electric mobility. The automaker stated that its diversified product portfolio continued to perform steadily across segments.
Commenting on the performance, JSW MG Motor India Chief Commercial Officer Vinay Raina said the results reflect consistent demand across the company’s lineup and represent its best-ever wholesale sales achievement. He added that electric vehicles continue to form a significant share of overall sales, while the company is also witnessing encouraging customer response to its internal combustion engine (ICE) offerings.
The company further announced that it has begun deliveries of its newly launched flagship SUV, the MG Majestor, which is expected to strengthen its presence in the premium SUV segment. JSW MG Motor India said it remains focused on expanding its product range and meeting evolving customer demand in both electric and conventional vehicle categories.
