Justdial is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Assam Industrial Development Corporation Limited (AIDCL). This collaboration is an important step towards the digitization of enterprises covered by the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) plan, which AIDCL is now implementing.
Just Dial and AIDCL have agreed to collaborate for three years to support the PMFME scheme’s objectives. Justdial will digitize micro-food processing firms registered under the scheme, while AIDCL will partner with them and exchange vital information. The strategic agreement aims to enhance these companies’ digital presence and competitiveness in the unorganised food processing industry.
The PMFME scheme, launched by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) in collaboration with state/UT governments, aims to enhance the competitiveness of micro-enterprises in the unorganised food processing industry, while also supporting Farmer Producer Organisations, Self-Help Groups, and Producers Cooperatives throughout their entire value chain. Commenting on the partnership, Sri DhrubajitSarma, State Lead, PMFME, AIDC Ltd. said, “We are looking forward to work with Justdial in assisting these businesses with creating a digital presence, Assam has a growing market of food processing units and the PMFME scheme enables us to not only support the industries financially but also assist them in Marketing initiatives such as this.”
