Café in Vadodra fined 7000 rupees

Recently the consumer commission in Gujarat’s Vadodara has ordered Kabir’s Kitchen Café Gallery to pay 5000 rupees for mental harassment and 2000 rupees as legal costs to a man who was charged 41 rupees for a 20 rupees water bottle in 2017.  Actually the menu listed the bottle at 39 rupees, 19 rupees more than the MRP of 20 rupees, and with the service charge, it cost him 41 rupees. This is actually very interesting news and from it we can know many things.

Actually from this news we can know that overcharging something is very bad and we can take action against it. If you see today price of everything is increasing very much and for everyone it becomes important to manage their money. For this reason we need to follow rules and not to pay more than the Maximum Retail Price. In reality from this example we can know that even for little thing people are taking action and also we should raise our voice it we find anything unfair in our life.
