Suresh Chandra who is still remembered for his role in Cheluvina Chittara and Ugramm, died on Friday after suffering from the novel coronavirus. According to reports, the actor was admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru for the past few weeks but failed to respond to treatment. He breathed his last on Friday in the afternoon. A well-known face of Kannada cinema, Suresh impressed the audience with his role as an antagonist in films like Cheluvina Chittara and Ugramm. He has also acted in several hit films, like Kiccha Huccha, Rana, Shyloo, Kalidasa Kannada Meshtru, Appayya and Junglee. Usually known for his portrayal of negative characters in films, Suresh made a mark for himself as an actor. He was last seen on the big screen in the 2019 film Kalidasa Kannada Meshtru. The film revolves around a teacher, who raises his voice against the education system that heavily leans on private schools.
