Amidst, border tension between regions of Northeast since past few years, Khanduli area of West Karbi Anglong district bordering Meghalaya, a committee from the regions was formed to resolve the border dispute.
Karbi Students Association (KSA) Central Committee and Jaintia Students’ Movement (JSM) from Assam and Meghalaya was formed to maintain peace in the bordering area of West Jaintia Hill district and West Karbi Anglong district.
According to the sources, since October, 2022 tension has been prevailing between the regions. Now with help of the committee meeting the districts will try to bring peace between its districts people.
