Actor Kartik Aaryan recalled the time he made eye contact with Shah Rukh Khan for the first time. The Freddy actor, who is a self-confessed SRK fan, said he visited Mannat, his palatial residence in Mumbai. He said that the actor had just got into his car and he noticed Karthik. It’s a memory that Karthik has always cherished, he revealed.
Kartik was asked if he ever acted like a fan. He told Bollywood Hungama, “I went to Mannat – and one Sunday, he got out of the car. We had a little eye contact—this was my first time in Bombay. I was so happy that he was looking at me.”
Karthik has always been a fan of Shahrukh. In an interview, he said, “I grew up watching Shahrukh Khan’s romantic films. I am a huge fan of his.” In another interview, the actor revealed that SRK was the first celebrity he clicked a selfie with after arriving in Mumbai.
Kartik Aaryan has been quite successful in 2022, as his film Bhool Bhulaiyyaa 2 did wonders at the box office and was one of the few hits in Bollywood. So he will next be seen in the thriller Freddy, where he appears to be playing a soft introvert who actually harbors a dark secret. The film stars Alay Fo and will release on December 2 on Disney Plus Hotstar. Apart from this, there is a film in the pipeline with Kriti Shannon opposite Shehzada and Kabir Khan.
