Kkiran Foundation has celebrated its 5th anniversary at the Guwahati Press Club, on September 12. On this occasion, ‘A Deadman’s Cellphone’- a short film, being produced by Mrs Kiran Boro in the banner of Kkiran Foundation, was also screened. B. Palkee, the CCRT Scholarship holder in the field of Kathak for the year 2018-19 and a Radio and theatre actor was felicitated on the occasion, along with Sweety Goyary, the MIHM Miss India Queen of Queens 2019; Deepjyoti Bharali, the Fashion Photographer; fashion designers Abhijit Das, Pallabi Baishya and Sangeeta Talukdar; jewelry designer Beauty Dutta Mazumdaqr and few others who are performing their best in their respective fields. The meeting was chaired by the Natyacharya Pokhila Kalita and Devajit Bhuyan, the Associate Editor of Prag News has attended as the chief guest. The programme was started with a Shiv Vandana in Kathak, performed by B. Palkee. Ace businessman Sunil Bagri, the owner and the director of Artha Films Manabendra Adhikari, entrepreneur Kushan Choudhury and Chinmoyee Bhuyan were also felicitated on the occasion. Actor Purnam Baruah was the anchor of the programme.
