Kolkata shops affected in fire

A fire department official said a fire gutted several shops in the Newmarket area of ​​central Kolkata early on Friday morning.

No loss was reported in the fire.

The officer added, Five fire tenders took around 30 minutes to take the fire in control which took place around 3 am.

The shops affected by the fire are on the ground floor of the building and some families live on the first floor.
