LG India launches 3rd Mega Blood Donation drive across 70 cities

LG Electronics India has announced the launch of its third Mega Blood Donation Campaign under the theme “Life’s Good When Life’s Shared,” aimed at mobilizing communities and inspiring youth participation. The campaign will see 400 donation camps across 70 cities, targeting 30,000 registrations—building on the success of the 2019 and 2023 editions, which recorded 17,700 registrations from 188 camps.

Donors will benefit from medical checkups, refreshments, and certificates of appreciation. LG is collaborating with Care Today Fund, United Way Mumbai, and Sakashm Bharti Foundation to promote voluntary blood donation. A dedicated microsite has been launched to facilitate registrations and provide real-time updates. LG in Kolkata is expected to play a significant role, with active community participation anticipated. Awareness campaigns through digital and radio platforms will target residents, with LG leveraging its local networks and brand loyalty to ensure robust turnout in the city’s donation drives.

Commenting on the initiative, MD Hong JuJeon said, “This campaign reflects our ongoing commitment to meaningful CSR programs and community engagement.” The campaign also includes a mass awareness drive to educate citizens on the importance of blood donation.
