MAGGI empowers culinary creativity; 10 women win big in Apna Food Business 2024

MAGGI has announced the victorious participants of its second MAGGI Apna Food Business initiative, showcasing the entrepreneurial prowess of ten talented women across India. Priyanka Kundu Biswas of Kolkata emerged as a standout, impressing judges with her innovative approach to food content creation.

The program, aimed at nurturing aspiring food entrepreneurs, attracted over 20 million hopefuls nationwide. More than 50,000 individuals benefited from intensive training led by industry luminaries such as Kabita Singh, Madhura Bachal, Teja Paruchuri, and experts from YouTube and META.

After rigorous competition, each of the ten winners received Rs. 5 Lakhs in seed capital to jumpstart their food content businesses. The successful entrepreneurs include Sophia Machado, Shreya Rao, Trashika Dsena, Ashneet Kaur Anand, Sheetal Pednekar, Shailaja Nair, Pinky Daswani, Vandana Jain, and Benisha Martin, representing cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Trivandrum, Pune, and Gurugram. Rajat Jain, Director of Foods Business at Nestlé India, applauded the winners, underscoring MAGGI’s commitment to fostering innovation in the culinary arts. He credited the partnership with India Food Network for the initiative’s seamless execution.
