Mahindra Vision S has once again grabbed attention after being spotted testing on the roads of Bengaluru. The SUV was first seen in prototype form during testing in 2025, and it has remained one of the much-awaited upcoming models from the automaker. The Vision S is expected to make its India debut on August 15, 2026, at Mahindra’s annual event.
The upcoming SUV, which is being referred to as the Baby Scorpio, is expected to carry a bold and boxy design. The test mule features an upright front profile with a flat bonnet and round LED headlamps. The production version could also get circular LED DRLs inspired by the Mahindra Thar Roxx.
At the front, the SUV gets a vertically positioned slat-style grille and rectangular fog lamp housings. A radar module has also been spotted in the lower grille area, hinting that the Vision S could offer ADAS technology.
The side profile features polygonal wheel arches, flush door handles and large alloy wheels. The SUV also gets a flat roofline and rectangular rear-quarter glass. At the rear, it is expected to feature vertically mounted rectangular taillights, a flat rear windscreen and a spare wheel.
The Vision S interior was recently spotted for the first time on a test vehicle. The cabin appears to borrow design elements from Mahindra models such as the Thar Roxx and Scorpio N.
Interestingly, the test mule was seen with a steering wheel similar to the one used in the Mahindra BE 6. This has sparked speculation that the prototype could be an electric version of the Vision S, although Mahindra has not yet confirmed the powertrain details.
