Recently Manipur eased their way into the final of the Khelo India Youth Games girls’ football competition, with a 2 -0 win over Haryana in their semifinal encounter on Sunday. Actually Oinam Babita opened the scoring in the 29th minute and Laishram Rejiya Devi doubled the lead in the 43rd minute as the state girls registered a convincing victory to book their place in the final. Now Manipur will now face West Bengal in the final on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 10 am.
This is actually good news as today people are taking football seriously and getting better in it. In fact today people in Manipur are filled with talent and for this reason when they got any platform to showcase it they perform their best. Actually if Manipur wins this competition then they will be able to give many things to the nation making football very important sport.
