Manish Sisodia Sent To Judicial Custody Till April 5

The national capital’s Rouse Avenue Court issued an order placing former deputy chief minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia in protective custody till April 5. Sisodia was taken before the city court by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) at the conclusion of his remand in connection with a money laundering case involving suspected anomalies in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy. For the matter involving the Delhi Excise Policy, Sisodia is also being investigated by the CBI. In connection with the Delhi Excise Policy Case, the CBI had detained him on suspicion of corruption.
