BLS International Services Limited (BLS International) has been awarded a prestigious three-year contract by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, to establish and operate Indian Visa Application Centres (IVACs) in China. The contract, effective from October 14, 2025, covers key cities including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, and aims to provide streamlined, secure, and customer-friendly visa services.
Under the agreement, BLS International will manage the IVACs with enhanced infrastructure, advanced technology, and multilingual staff, ensuring a seamless experience for applicants. Speaking on the occasion, Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director of BLS International, said, “We are honoured to receive this prestigious contract and look forward to providing excellent services that are reliable and user-centric.”
Industry analysts note that BLS International’s operations in China are expected to strengthen India’s consular outreach and reflect the growing importance of technology-driven visa services. Kolkata is likely to see a rise in demand for Indian visa facilitation services, particularly among business travellers and students, following increased awareness of BLS International’s global reputation and efficiency standards.
