The body of a missing 17-year-old girl was found in the jungles of Jawahar Sagar Dam on Thursday.
Jawahar Nagar DSP and CO Ankit Jain told PTI that her body was found fully clothed. Initially, it seems that he died of stone injuries.
Police said the deceased minor had left her room for coaching two days ago and did not return.
During investigation, it was found that the girl had befriended one Kishan Tagore from Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat on social media. The man, in his early 20s, came to Kota on Saturday and they both planned to go on a picnic near the dam, they said.
The CCTV footage also showed the girl leaving on a scooter with a young man.
According to reports, a police team has been sent to Gujarat to nab Thakur, who may be brought to Kota.
