MIT’s Innovation Center unveiled ‘KX 23’ – Go Kart project

The student project ‘KX 23’ – Go Kart, created by ‘Team Carting Manipal’ at MIT’s Innovation Center, was unveiled, showcasing a unique blend of dedication, innovation, and technical prowess, affectionately dubbed ‘light year’ by the students.

The unveiling ceremony of a student project at Manipal Academy of Higher Education was attended by Vice Chancellor Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh, who expressed immense pride in unveiling this exceptional student project. He stated, “The commitment to provide a track facility for such projects reflects the institution’s dedication to nurturing student-led innovations.” He applauded the students’ dedication, sincerity, and technical proficiency, urging them to carry forward the legacy of their predecessors and strive for continuous improvement.

Dr. Anil Rana, Director of Manipal Institute of Technology, congratulated the team and emphasized the determination and hard work of students in completing innovative projects. The ‘KX 23’ – Go Kart project, led by 25 students, began on September 22, 2022, with a cost of 7 to 10 lakhs. The project, a student-led initiative, showcases the commitment of MIT and MAHE to education excellence. It is expected to leave a lasting mark on the racing circuit, earning recognition for both the university and its students.
