Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma on Wednesday visited disaster-affected areas in Serchhip, Buangpui, Thenzawl, and Neihloh to assess damage caused by heavy rains and landslides. The visit comes amid one of the worst natural calamities the state has seen in recent years. Starting in Serchhip town, the Chief Minister inspected collapsed homes and met affected residents. He later visited Buangpui village, where he interacted with community leaders at the local community hall and assured them of prompt government relief and rehabilitation.
