Motorola is preparing to add another smartphone to its Edge 70 lineup in India. The company has confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 Neo will be launched in the country in the coming months, giving consumers another option in its expanding 70 series.
The confirmation was made during Motorola’s IFA 2026 announcements. The company’s press release primarily focused on products including the Edge 70 Plus, Moto Snap Wireless Charger and Moto Watch Ultra. However, the availability section also listed the Edge 70 Neo, indicating that the smartphone will be released in India. Motorola has yet to announce a specific launch date for the device.
The upcoming smartphone was also reportedly spotted as part of Motorola’s Android 17 testing programme in India. Meanwhile, leaked renders have provided an early look at its possible design. The phone is expected to feature a flat display with a centrally positioned punch-hole cutout and relatively slim bezels. On the rear, it could carry a raised square-shaped camera island with three camera sensors.
The Edge 70 series has continued to expand with multiple models. The Edge 70 Fusion and Fusion+ are already part of the lineup, while the standard Edge 70 reached the market in 2025. The Edge 70 Pro+ and Edge 70 Max followed in June and July 2026. The Edge 70 Neo will become another addition to the growing family.
Leaks suggest that the Edge 70 Neo could arrive in four colour options, including dark green, light blue, olive green and pale pink. The smartphone has also been tipped to feature a 200-megapixel camera, although the final camera setup could be different at the time of launch.
