Motorola launches ultra-premium ‘Signature’ smartphone in India at Rs. 54,999

Motorola has  announced the launch of Motorola Signature in India, marking its entry into the ultra-premium flagship smartphone segment. Priced starting at Rs. 54,999, the new device combines high-end camera technology, luxury design, advanced artificial intelligence features, and exclusive lifestyle services. Alongside the smartphone, the company also introduced the moto watch powered by Polar, aimed at users focused on health and wellness.

The Motorola Signature features the world’s only Triple Sony LYTIA™ Pro-Grade Camera System and has received the DXOMARK Gold Label certification. With a DXOMARK camera score of 164, the device claims the top position for camera performance in India under the Rs. 1 lakh segment. It supports 8K and 4K video recording, advanced optical image stabilization, and AI-powered photography tools for improved image quality.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Mobile Platform, the smartphone offers AI-first performance, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage. It also comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, 165Hz refresh rate, and enhanced durability features.

Motorola has also introduced Signature Club, offering 24×7 concierge and lifestyle services with a one-year free subscription.

In Asansol, retailers expect growing interest from premium smartphone buyers, particularly professionals and business users looking for strong camera performance and luxury design. Dealers say rising disposable incomes and increasing demand for flagship devices could help Motorola strengthen its presence in this segment across the region.

Speaking at the launch, Motorola India Managing Director T.M. Narasimhan said the company aims to set a new benchmark in the premium smartphone space by combining innovation, design, and meaningful user experiences.
