The Mizoram Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (MPYCC) has accused a ZPM party adviser of unlawfully occupying an official staff quarter at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET). In a press release on Tuesday, MPYCC revealed that during their visit to the DIET principal and staff quarters, they discovered that Chief Minister Lalduhoma’s campaigner was residing in one of the DIET staff quarters without authorization.
The MPYCC emphasized that these quarters are designated for DIET staff, who are currently facing a severe shortage of housing. Upon further investigation, the MPYCC identified the occupant as Lalthansanga, a ZPM Party PAC Member and an adviser, noting that no member of his family is employed by DIET or any other government department.
The MPYCC claimed that Lalthansanga was occupying the quarter on the recommendation of Chief Minister Lalduhoma. MPYCC President Laltawnliana has demanded that Lalthansanga vacate the DIET quarter immediately. He stated that the MPYCC will continue to monitor the situation to ensure compliance.
