Music maestro Ustad Rashid Khan 55, who was popularly known for his song Aaoge Jab Tum in the movie Jab We Met, died on 9th of January, Tuesday. The musician had been suffering from prostate cancer and the condition worsened in past few days.
According to the sources, Khan had initially undergone treatment for prostrate cancer at Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital. However, he wished for the continuation of his treatment in Kolkata and thus, he was taken to a private hospital in the capital city in the month of December, 2023.
Reportedly, Khan continued with his music riyaaz while at the hospital until the time his health worsened.
