Lalit Modi, the first chairman of Indian Premier League, today introduced a “new beginning” with actor Sushmita Sen. Calling Ms Sen his better half, Lalit Modi despatched their followers into a frenzy with quite a few discussing if the two were married. Spoiler alert: They are not.
“Just again in london after a whirling global tour #maldives #sardinia with the families – now not to point out my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new lifestyles finally. Over the moon (sic),” Lalit Modi stated in a tweet.
Lalit Modi, in the subsequent tweet, clarified that they each are not married yet, simply dating. “Not married – simply dating each other. That too it will manifest one day,” he tweeted.
Lalit Modi had left India in 2010 amid investigations into tax evasion and money-laundering. He has been in London due to the fact that then.
Sushmita Sen was once crowned Miss Universe in 1994. She made her Bollywood debut in the 1996 movie Dastak. She has featured in videos such as Biwi No 1, Do Knot Disturb, Main Hoon Na, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge and No Problem.
Sushmita Sen is a single mom to two daughters – Alisah and Renee. Ms Sen adopted Renee in 2000 while Alisah joined the household in 2010. Renee made her appearing debut with a short film.
