MasterChef India, a popular cooking show, will be streamed exclusively on Sony LIV from Monday to Friday at 8 pm. Chefs Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Pooja Dhingra will mentor aspiring chefs, including 30-year-old Meghalayan Nambie Jessica S. Marak, who aims to showcase Northeastern cuisine on the show, aiming to leave a lasting mark on the culinary scene.
Nambie, a principal and owner of Sunbeam Foundation School in Upper Rangsa, Meghalaya, has a diverse background, including teaching communication skills in Chennai and nurturing young minds in Meghalaya’s serene landscapes.
She also runs ‘Eat Your Kappa’, a YouTube channel documenting northeastern food and culture. Nambie’s passion for cooking has been a constant since childhood, and her husband serves as a taste-tester for her creations. An avid MasterChef enthusiast, Nambie aims to showcase the culinary heritage of Northeastern India, creating memorable and mouthwatering dishes.
