NBSTC employees union raised the demand for permanent job

On behalf of the North Bengal State Transport Employees Union, a memorandum with 11-point demands was submitted to the Cooch Behar Divisional Manager today. The 16th convention is going to be held in Baharampur on February 26. North Bengal State Transport Employees Union has taken up a program of giving a memorandum to the Divisional Managers of Cooch Behar, Siliguri, Raiganj and Baharampur divisions today.

Ranjit Dhar, the Secretary of Cooch Behar Division of North Bengal State Transport Employees Union, said that they have several demands, one of them being the recruitment of vacant posts, regularization of contractual, and salary should be increased to 21,000 until regularization. He also said that if the government doesn’t fulfill their demands, they will launch a larger movement later.
